Smart Factory Innovation Forum 2017 | 4th Edition

Machines communicate with each other and inform each other about errors in the production process. They identify scarce material stocks and order them by themselves. Their intelligence also connects all those involved in the value chain: customers, vendors, suppliers and partner. Production merges with information technology, robots relieve and protect people, individual production is not more complex than serial production. All this describes only a section of the ‘Smart Factory’.

The 4th edition of the Smart Factory Innovation Forum wants to present the ‘smart factory to touch and feel’. Numerous managers of various companies will report their routes of the digital transformation of their enterprises. Together with entrepreneurs, plant managers, startup founders and experts we want to share and discuss gained experiences, how to overcome obstacles and the drivers for digital innovations.
